Curious about the world around me, I strapped on a backpack after college graduation and set out to discover new people and places. I fell in love with the world. I saw true poverty. I learned to appreciate diversity in culture, but was deeply touched by the universality basic human need.
In 2010, I transformed my experiences into a socially conscious business. Since then, I've worked on the ground in 23 different countries. I've represented dozens of companies and hundreds of generous donors to provide help to thousands in need. My efforts have been featured by the Today Show, The New York Times, Crain's Detroit Business, the Huffington Post, and Ambassador Magazine for pioneering a new, engaging approach to philanthropy.
I was born and raising in Michigan, graduated from Albion College, and currently live on the edge of Detroit.
My mission is to encourage compassion and understanding across our globe by captivating, educating, and inspiring the next generation of givers.
I believe people are good.
I believe kindness is everywhere.
I believe diversity should be celebrated.
I believe change is possible.
I believe one person can make a difference.
